More wedding

I hope you are in a mood for another wedding layout! :-)

You should see me smile while I am going through our wedding photos. You should see me smile while I am scrappin' them. You should see me smile right now. 

I love him. I love him SO much.

Everything but the rub-on is Crate's Portrait. Paper, chipboard, button, ribbon... everything. The rub-on is Lily Bee Hello Sunshine.

Is it me or is Blogger really making pictures darker? I think they look lighter when I view them with Windows Photo Viewer or with Photoshop. Humph... strange...

We are heading towards my sister's house tomorrow to celebrate my niece's baptism. I love spending time with my family! Linnea is constantly talking about her cousins and I can't wait to see her happy face when they meet. Of course, I had to make her a card but I'll share it some other time. It's time for bed now...

Just married... only 3.5 years ago...

Hey guys! Hope you are doing fine!

Sorry for not updating my blog for so long. Things have been crazy around here. From trying to survive the terrible twos to making difficult career decisions... there was really not much space left for blogging. Or for creating, for that matter.

But I did manage to make a layout last night :-) I just couldn't stand a thought that I had these pretty papers just lying around, waiting for me... 'Cause you know... I've been waiting for these papers from the day I started to scrapbook. Finally - the perfect match for my wedding photos! :-) So here it is - my first wedding layout.
(Oh... it won't be the last... I have already two more in progress... only in my head so far, but still...)

I love these pictures. We look so happy :-)

I have used the lovely Portrait collection by Crate Paper. It is just so... so... perfect... perfect in every single way. Colors, patterns, chipboard and stickers elements, borders... awww.... so pretty...

I had so much fun making this one! Didn't want to stop... I've been really looking forward this kit, and I can tell you that it has met all my expectations. It's awesome. It's beautiful. It's playful. It has it all.

I hope you like it as much as I do. This color combination makes me happy, makes me dream of summer, makes me smile my biggest smile :-)

God how I hope that I will get a chance to play with their new collections! Hope Swedish stores will bring them in... like - NOW! :-) I believe that one of the Nook kits will be featuring Picket Fence. Can't wait!

#2: A Lily Bee layout! This time using the Lovely collection. I bought all the Lily Bee papers I could find :-D Wish I had the Lovely rub-ons and chipboard stickers, but the Lily Bee elements were even harder to find than papers. Oh well... Here is the layout:

Linnea's 2nd birthday. We had the Jungle theme. What do you think about my Monkey cake? :-) How I laughed... It didn't turn out as imagined, but everybody loved it, especially the birthday girl. So eventually, I started to like it too ;-)

I cut the word "lovely" from the paper "name stripes". Too cute not to use :-)

I have used three different edge punches on this one, which reminds me that I need to buy more... A Jenny Bowlin rub-on is framing the "2".

I simply enjoy you

I've been scrapping a lot of older pictures lately. You know why? Because I can still only take winter photos!!! Winter or indoor. With all these bright, colorful new collections I need the Sun, green grass and an outfit that doesn't include an oversized winter overall. Is that too much to ask for? ;-)

These photos are from the summer of 2009. I was still on maternity leave, simply enjoying my little baby girl. Those were the days...

I have used the Springtime collection by Echo Park for this one. The colors felt just perfect for my pictures.

Wanna know what I have right here besides me? The March kit from My Scrapbook Nook. Look at that gorgeousness! This time I ordered a whole bunch from the add-ons section, including the Crate Portrait collection kit. Emmas Shoppe + Portrait *drool* I feel paralyzed facing all this beauty. I think it will take me a day or two to start cutting them. It's not often I feel this way, but believe me - I honestly don't think a paper collection can get much better than this. Pretty. Pretty. Pretty.

Happy to be creating again

I've been a different person since I started to scrap again. Yes, this hobby keeps me up late and takes from my sleep, but it gives me so much energy back. Scrapbooking makes me happy. It fulfills me. This is something I want to do for the rest of my life. Wish I could make my living playing with papers :-)

This layout is about me - happy to be creating again.

I was really pleased with this one. It's one of my personal favorites. Must be the topic ;-) I think I am slowly starting to identify my comfort zone. I like straight lines combined with interesting details. I always end up removing things from my layouts, so I think I am more of a simple-scrapper. I wish I knew how to use more flowers, more layers, but at the time it just doesn't feel like me. Hopefully, I will find that side of me too sometime in the future :-)

1-2-3 Dive!

Oh, how I love these gorgeous papers by Lily Bee! ♥

I fell in love with their CHA releases, but I couldn't wait to get those. So I ordered this older collection called "Hello Sunshine". Love it! Love the colors, love the patterns, love the rub-ons! Lily Bee is sort of new for me. This is the first time I use their products. I've been following girls who use them, and I have always loved them, but I find them hard to get here in Sweden. Not all stores have them - but believe me - they should!

Oh... sorry... here is the layout ;-)

The photos are from our 2010 summer vacation. Linnea really enjoyed the sea. She was so cute... said that she was going to dive and than started counting... sometimes she dived on 3, sometimes on 7, sometimes on 13... we never knew when she was about to jump :-)

Don't you love the colors? I know I do :-)

Always on the Run

Hi there! Hope you are having a great day!

I am at home, taking care of my sick daughter. I am seriously starting to hate this time of the year. In February, I was at home for almost 50% of my working time!!! Most of the time I was taking care of her. Rest of the time I was taking care of my self. I think we've had our share now. Please... make it stop! Bring on the spring!

While waiting for the leaves to reappear on the trees, I made this layout using the new Springtime collection by Echo Park.

The layout is about how rarely we get to see Linnea walk. I have wondered if she knows how to :-) Well, not any more actually... These days she seems to have learned how to control her own legs. But last year... Last year she was always running!

I was inspired to create this butterfly-tree by this picture I found on Etsy:

I love Etsy! The place is loaded with inspiration!

Time for the two of us to try to take a nap. I say "try" because I'm pretty sure that Linnea will try to object ;-)

A Boy Card

Visst är det intressant hur man kan gilla vissa människor från dag ett? Eller ja... egentligen från minut ett...  En ny kille har börjat på mitt jobb, hamnade i mitt team... och det är nåt med honom... nåt jag helt enkelt tycker om. Han fyller 25 nu. Ja, du läste rätt - 25! Det känns lite sjukt att folk som är yngre än min lilla syster (lillsyrran är som nån sorts mått på vad som är ungt) börjar jobba med en. Lite gammal börjar jag allt känna mig nu... Nåja... i vilket fall som helst... jag kände för att göra ett födelsedagskort till den här ny killen, från oss alla i teamet så klart :-) Så här blev det.

It's interesting how some people can make such a strong impression on you. You just like them from day one. Or should I say from minute one? There is this new guy (boy?) at my work... there is something about him... something that I just simply enjoy... He's turning 25 now. Yes, you read it right - 25!  It feels kinda strange when people who are younger than my little sister (my sis will always stand for "the young") start working with you! Makes me feel old! Anyhow... I wanted to make a birthday card for this new guy (boy?)... from the whole team of course :-) This is how it turned out.

Not a card maker

Nä... jag är väl ingen kortmakare. Jag gör kort bara när jag behöver dem. Som t.ex. nu när min söta svägerska fyller år. Men jag har alltid så himla kul när jag väl gör det att jag kanske borde göra det lite oftare. Det är ett riktigt bra sätt att scrappa av sig lite grand. Inte riktigt så krävande som att göra en layout (även om det också tar sin tid för en så långsam scrappare som jag är). Vi ska över till svägerskan senare idag, så jag hoppas verkligen att hon är för upptagen för att kika in här nu ;-)

No, I am not a card maker. I make cards only when I really need them. Like now, when my lovely sister-in-law is having her birthday. We are going to visit her later today, so I am really hoping that she is too busy to peek in here right now ;-) 
When I actually do take a chance and make a card I always have so much fun! Maybe I should be considering doing it a little bit more often, just for fun... Anyhow, here comes my card:

Även den här gången lekte jag lite med den negativa delen av stickers. De ljusrosa "hjärteramar" klippte jag ut och lät själva glansiga, genomskinliga stickerspappret vara kvar. Tyckte det gav ganska rolig effekt. Kommer nog att göra det igen...

I've played with stickers-negatives again. I cut the pink heart negatives and used them along with the glossy, transparent stickers-sheet underneath. I really liked the effect. Will be using that technique again...

This is my style

Det här kommer att bli ett riktigt kort inlägg, för egentligen borde jag vara i sängen nu. Jag skulle bara printa ut bilder jag ville scrappa. Och sen så skulle jag bara kika lite på papper jag skulle ha till. Känna lite på designen kan man ju alltid göra... Innan jag ens hann fatta det, var layouten klar :-) Och när den ändå var klar, så kan jag väl lika gärna vara uppe lite till och blogga om den, eller hur? ;-)

This is going to be a really short post. I should be in my bed right now... I was just supposed to print the photos I wanted to scrap. Then I though that I could take a closer look at the papers i wanted to use. Take a minute or two to think about the design... All the sudden (read: after 2 hours) I had this layout in front of me :-) And now, I can just as well take a minute or two (?) and blog about it... ;-) Yeah, right...

Layouten är om min stil just nu. För tillfället älskar jag Noa Noa. Man kan inte se det på bilden, men t.o.m. mina strumpbyxor kommer därifrån! :-) Tyckte det var värt en layout... Bilderna är tagna i helgen på The Studio. Har länge velat ta mig dit, och tro det eller ej, men jag lyckades t.o.m lura med mig min man! *nöjd*

The page is about my style. At the moment I LOVE Noa Noa. You can't see it in the picture, but even my tights are by Noa Noa :-) I think it was worth a layout... The photos were taken last weekend at The Studio (model for a day thing). This is something I've wanted to do for some time now. And believe it or not - somehow I even got my husband to join me! Still in shock.... *happy*
